Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of students and families, tailoring treatment plans to address specific challenges.

• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to facilitate emotional healing and resilience.

• Maintaining detailed, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring privacy and security of client information.

• Collaborating with educators, school administrators, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and support to students.

• Engaging in regular supervision and case consultations with peers to enhance treatment effectiveness and personal professional development.

• Delivering psychoeducation sessions to students and their families, empowering them to manage mental health challenges through awareness and available resources.

• Staying updated on the latest research in psychology and social work, integrating new evidence-based practices into your therapy approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a wide array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related challenges. Your interventions will aim to foster positive coping mechanisms, enhance academic performance, and improve social interactions, ultimately promoting overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in a clinical setting, focused on delivering psychotherapy services.

• Sound knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly with regard to youth mental health.
