Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound studies including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, explaining each procedure with transparency and empathy
• Engage in close collaboration with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-caliber diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Accurately log procedures and uphold patient records within the electronic health system
• Stay informed about latest advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and guidelines

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
