Business Development Director - SaaS Partnerships Quantum Lending Solutions is redefining small business lending with diverse, adaptable business financing options. Job Summary The Business Development Director - SaaS Partnerships will lead the growth of Quantum’s SaaS partnership ecosystem, developing strategic, embedded relationships with software platforms to expand the reach of Quantum’s financing solutions. This role combines high‑level strategy with hands‑on business development, from identifying prospects, to developing a pipeline of potential partners, to closing deals with new partners. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Development: Identify and develop new SaaS partners through outreach, networking, industry events, and targeted campaigns. Develop your BD pipeline to achieve personal and team goals. Consultative Business Development: Engage prospects to understand their business models, identify pain points, and demonstrate the value of Quantum’s working capital products and embedded lending partnerships. Deal Execution: Structure, negotiate, and close partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with both Quantum’s objectives and partner goals. Cross‑Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Partner Success, Product, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams to help deliver successful new partnerships. Strategy & Growth: Support the VP, Business Development in executing and refining Quantum’s partner strategy and go‑to‑market approach. Thought Leadership: Represent Quantum at industry events and conferences to elevate brand visibility and strengthen industry relationships. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA a plus. 5+ years in B2B consultative sales, channel sales, or partnership management, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or financial services. 2+ years of experience either working for, selling into, or developing relationships with SaaS companies. Proven success building and closing new partnerships with SaaS or technology platforms. Demonstrated strength across the entire BD pipeline (i.e., identifying new opportunities, prospect outreach, pipeline management, contract negotiations, and deal closing) Experience leveraging CRM software and outreach tools (e.g., Salesforce) Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Entrepreneurial, results‑driven, and resilient; thrives in a fast‑paced growth environment. Ability to travel domestically as required. Skills and Abilities Strong understanding of SaaS platforms supporting loan origination, credit risk, servicing, and collections. Deep knowledge of vendor risk management, data security, and compliance considerations in financial institutions. Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization. Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess partnership impact, prepare business cases, and use data to drive decisions. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and relationship‑builder who is passionate about leveraging fintech partnerships to modernize and scale lending operations.
