This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements tailored to meet your schedule. Although most therapy sessions will be conducted online, our outpatient office in Bakersfield is available for in-person meetings if needed. We maintain regular business hours with occasional evening shifts, ensuring that our clients have access to crucial services when they need them most.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health status and treatment needs, utilizing standardized instruments and clinical interviews to gather comprehensive data.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, addressing diverse mental health concerns through individual, group, and family therapy.

• Collaborate proactively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic, integrated care approach that places the client’s needs at the forefront.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute psychological distress, utilizing your skills in de-escalation and support to navigate challenging situations effectively.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives, workshops, and campaigns aimed at raising mental health awareness and combating stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Mood Care, you will work with a diverse clientele representing various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our practice focuses on providing services to individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your role will be pivotal in promoting mental well-being and supporting clients in their journeys toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active license in one of the following areas: LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Demonstrated cultural competence, showcasing sensitivity and understanding in working with a wide array of communities.

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to ensure precise and timely documentation and client follow-up.

Compensation and Benefits\n
