Up And Running Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our well-established orthopedic outpatient clinic located in Waldwick, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our Waldwick facility, allowing for hands-on interaction with patients in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. As part of the home care therapy facility, you will work closely with patients in various stages of recovery from orthopedic conditions. Your efforts will directly impact their journey towards independence and improved quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, hands-on therapy sessions that incorporate manual therapy techniques and movement-based treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients on tailored rehabilitation exercises and injury prevention strategies to empower them in their healing process.
• Continuously assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet changing patient needs.
• Engage in effective communication with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes, including physicians, occupational therapists, and administrative staff.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to maintain accurate, up-to-date patient documentation and treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population suffering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility limitations. Your role will involve developing a trusting rapport with patients, understanding their specific challenges, and delivering effective therapeutic strategies that promote healing.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient setting, with a focus on orthopedic conditions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Experience with EMR platforms (e.g., WebPT) is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and patient progress.
• A clean professional record, free from prior board actions.

Preferred Experience

Additional experience in specialized areas such as sports rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, or geriatric care will be considered an advantage. We welcome candidates who exhibit a strong commitment to continuing education and professional growth, with an interest in further specialization.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package is competitive and reflects the expertise and dedication of our Physical Therapists. The annual salary for this position is in the range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
