Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing for direct interaction with our patients while offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, personal trainers, and administrative staff who all work together to ensure seamless patient care. The home care aspect allows for flexibility and provides an opportunity to deliver therapy in a relaxed and familiar setting for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to determine each patient's specific physical therapy needs.
• Create customized treatment plans that focus on improving mobility, flexibility, and overall strength.
• Guide patients through individual rehabilitation exercises and activities, providing necessary support and adjustments to optimize recovery.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve range of motion.
• Regularly reassess patient progress and adjust treatment modalities to meet their evolving needs.
• Document all patient interactions and progress using our electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and effective strategies for self-management.
• Participate in regular training and team meetings to enhance collaborative care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of our clinic includes a diverse patient population primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-rehabilitation needs. You will be engaged with patients ranging from young athletes to older adults, fostering an environment where everyone receives personalized, compassionate care tailored to their lifestyle and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is essential.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques is necessary to deliver effective patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record management systems, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly valued.

• Knowledge of current treatment protocols and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate for this position will enjoy a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
