Two onsite positions are available, focusing on serving elementary and PreK students with special needs, including one elementary autism classroom and one PreK SPED class. This contract role runs through May 2027, offering the chance to establish lasting relationships with students, families, and colleagues while developing your skills and expertise in the field.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid SPED teaching license (emergency certifications not accepted)
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students and/or PreK with diverse learning needs
• Openness to candidates with pending certification and those interested in travel assignments
• Knowledge of instructional strategies tailored for autism spectrum and special education populations
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset for working with support staff, administrators, and families
• Proven organizational abilities and adaptability in dynamic classroom settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students in elementary autism and PreK special education settings
• Develop and implement appropriate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Foster positive learning environments that encourage inclusion, engagement, and growth for all learners
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general education teachers
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with caregivers
