Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Create detailed case documentation that tracks each client's journey from initial consultation to treatment closure.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and empowering individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, addressing various mental health concerns.
\n
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to design and coordinate comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Conduct follow-ups with clients who have been hospitalized to ensure continuity of care and support their reintegration into the community.

• Proactively identify behaviors and mental health challenges that could hinder recovery and provide strategies to address these issues effectively.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health challenges of their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve encompass a diverse range of ages, backgrounds, and mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use challenges. Your role will involve understanding the unique situations of each client, ensuring customized care that fosters resilience, healing, and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Diverse experience as a mental health counselor with demonstrated success in therapeutic settings.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to ensure efficient documentation practices.
\n
• Understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health, substance use, and co-occurring physical health issues.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

• Empathetic, with excellent interpersonal skills that facilitate trust and rapport building with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive knowledge regarding the effects of prescription medications commonly used in mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
