Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address the unique needs of clients.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, primarily focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment progress within our digital record-keeping system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Carilion Therapeutic Clinic, you will support a diverse range of clients, including adults who are facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• A minimum of two years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy to adult clients.
