Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Unified Wellness, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Delivering individualized therapy sessions to clients based on their unique treatment plans.
• Maintaining consistent communication with the healthcare team to inform them of any changes in a patient's clinical status, ensuring timely interventions.
• Providing education and support to clients and their families concerning mental health interventions and the comprehensive treatment plan.
• Conducting thorough care planning, including assessments for transfers and discharges, ensuring smooth transitions for your patients.
• Identifying and addressing environmental risks that may impact patient health, employing immediate interventions and collaborating with relevant team members for an integrated care approach.
• Documenting all interactions and maintaining accurate records to comply with organizational policies and facilitate care continuity.
• Assisting clients in navigating health-related financial, social, and emotional concerns, while also implementing effective coping strategies to enhance their resilience.
• Contributing to staff development and interdepartmental collaborations that elevate the quality of patient care across the organization.

Your practice will focus on diverse populations including individuals from various backgrounds who may be struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's or Doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling, clinical social work, or a related field from an accredited program.
• A valid independent license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the state of residence.
• Demonstrated ability to approach treatment with a non-judgmental attitude and a desire to continually expand your skill set.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• The capacity to work autonomously while adhering to verbal and written instructions provided by supervision.
