Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based tools and techniques for accurate diagnostics.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the unique goals and circumstances of each client, ensuring a personalized approach to therapy.

• Facilitate engaging therapeutic sessions using a variety of interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy to promote healing and growth.

• Document all client interactions and treatment progress diligently in our electronic health record (EHR) system to comply with best practices and regulatory standards.

• Maintain open communication with clients, providing ongoing support and adjusting treatment plans as needed to reflect changes in their mental health status.

• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on the latest research and trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns. This diverse patient population requires a therapist who is adaptable and knowledgeable about various treatment modalities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling, with demonstrated competency in providing therapeutic services.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, fostering an environment of trust and safety.

• Capacity to deliver individualized treatment that responds to the specific needs of each client.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, additional experience with telehealth practices, trauma-informed care, or specialized therapy techniques (such as EMDR or DBT) will be considered a strong asset. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $115,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
