As part of the accounting team, you'll partner with departments across the organization to support vehicle inventory accounting activities, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with company procedures and accounting standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to continue building their accounting expertise.In Long, as the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for:Receiving vehicle purchase information and verifying accuracy across multiple systems.Accurately entering vehicle purchases into inventory systems.Researching vehicle inquiries and payments.Researching and applying incoming funds accurately and timely.Assisting internal and external business partners with vehicle-related issues.Reviewing and researching assigned tickets and requests.Maintaining, organizing, and filing appropriate documentation.Ensuring transactions are completed in compliance with company procedures and GAAP standards.Performing additional duties and projects as assigned.So What Kind of Folks Are We Looking For?Highly organized professionals who can effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Detail-oriented individuals who take pride in accuracy and quality.Team players who enjoy collaborating and supporting others to achieve shared goals.Adaptable professionals who can thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.Strong communicators who can confidently interact with a variety of stakeholders.Self-starters who take initiative and proactively solve problems.Individuals who enjoy learning new systems, tools, and processes.The Specifics.1+ years of experience in high-volume data entry, accounting support, inventory administration, or a related field preferred.High school diploma or GED required.Proficiency with ten-key data entry by touch.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external business partners.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes quickly.Willingness to cross-train and participate in ongoing professional development.Any equivalent combination of training and experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.Nice to HavePrevious experience in inventory accounting.Experience researching and reconciling payments.Familiarity with vehicle inventory processes.Working knowledge of GAAP principlesSo What About the Perks?
