Cure Tablet is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) to become an integral part of our integrated care team. In this full-time remote role based in Miami, Florida, you will engage in transforming the lives of individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Work Environment\n

This position is designed to be remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining a regular weekday schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Some evening hours may be required on a rotating basis to accommodate client appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform detailed assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, carefully identifying cases of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that accurately address their unique mental health and substance use needs through evidence-based techniques.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to equip clients with coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and relapse prevention techniques.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists—to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment that addresses all aspects of the client’s well-being.

• Conduct regular monitoring of substance use, applying motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and reinforce commitment to the recovery process.

• Educate clients and their families regarding the connections between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of following prescribed treatment paths.

• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress, therapeutic interventions, and any referrals made, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities to continually enhance skills in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in an appropriate field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A strong understanding of the intersectionality between mental health challenges and substance use disorders, allowing for tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary health care environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of active practice providing mental health counseling, particularly with clients who present co-occurring disorders.

• Experience collaborating within a team-based environment that involves integrated healthcare approaches.

• Familiarity with the healthcare systems and resources within the Miami community.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
