As a full-time Staff Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients in an outpatient setting. Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office, ensuring direct engagement with our patients and a collaborative atmosphere among our healthcare professionals. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care that addresses both physical and emotional rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to accurately diagnose patient conditions and devise individualized treatment strategies.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet each patient's specific needs, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, modalities, and therapeutic exercises.
• Foster collaborative relationships with other healthcare providers, actively communicating treatment plans and progress updates.
• Monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapy exercises, wellness practices, and preventative measures to support long-term health.
• Document all evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes comprehensively in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population varies widely, ranging from post-operative rehab patients to individuals recovering from chronic pain, sports injuries, and neurological conditions. Many of our clients appreciate a customized approach to their rehabilitation, making it essential for you to develop rapport and trust as you guide them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain one. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; American Heart Association certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication and clinical reasoning skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage time effectively.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and delivering patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation-focused setting, preferably within outpatient therapy.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems and familiarity with best practices in rehabilitation techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, contributing to a positive organizational culture.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
