Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients, developing individualized therapy plans tailored to their unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for diverse populations, including individuals, groups, and couples.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy to facilitate client progress.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and cohesive care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and therapy sessions to uphold compliance and track treatment outcomes.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance therapeutic skills and maintain licensure.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily focusing on individuals and families who may have limited access to traditional mental health services. Your expertise will assist clients dealing with various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship challenges. This role is integral to helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is essential.

• At least two years of professional counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting, is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-focused therapy, or substance abuse counseling is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Life Partners Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. We provide resource support for billing and documentation processes, alleviating administrative burdens allowing you to focus on client care.
