Mobility Works Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) for a full-time position at our rehabilitation center located in beautiful Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center situated in Fort Myers Beach, a vibrant locale known for its stunning natural beauty and friendly community atmosphere. The center fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment, with a focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your standard work schedule will be Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours a week with flexible time options.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate patient care in both acute and outpatient settings tailored for individual patient needs.
• Implement personalized treatment programs established by fellow licensed physical therapists, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including a review of relevant medical histories, specific assessments, and documentation of results to recommend effective treatment plans.
• Engage in comprehensive discharge planning, ensuring a seamless transition in care by documenting patient progress accurately and timely in our electronic health records system.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding state, local, and federal regulations, completing all required corporate and clinical trainings.
• Evaluate and direct appropriate treatment for patients requiring physical therapy while documenting clinical findings and patient progress transparently.
• Foster open communication with inter-disciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff, as well as patients and their families, to promote integrated care.
• Participate in facility meetings to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our clinical services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of your role, you will care for patients ranging from those undergoing post-surgical recovery to individuals with chronic conditions requiring long-term rehabilitation. You will leverage your expertise to cater to a diverse clientele, including orthopedic cases that require personalized treatment approaches, maximizing their recovery potential and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record systems to streamline patient documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits
