Work Environment

This position is full-time and based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Fort Myers Beach, a charming coastal location known for its beautiful sunsets and vibrant community. Our therapists have the flexibility to choose their own hours within a Monday to Friday schedule, allowing for a work-life balance that fits their personal needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, developing individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions—including exercises, hands-on techniques, and specialized equipment—to alleviate pain and enhance patient mobility.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving condition and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about treatments and rehabilitative exercises to foster independent self-care practices.
• Provide detailed training on assistive devices and mobility aids, ensuring patients can operate these tools safely for enhanced independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic patient care and comprehensive rehabilitation.
• Participate in continuing education workshops and stay updated with the latest in physical therapy advancements to maintain best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population we serve includes children and adults recovering from various conditions such as surgeries, injuries, and chronic illness. Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.

Preferred Experience
