As a licensed Mental Health Counselor at Goodwin Mental Health Center, you will primarily work remotely, providing therapy services to clients across Oregon. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, utilizing various standardized tools and personal interviews to develop customized treatment plans that address clients' unique mental health needs.

• Provide evidence-based individual therapy sessions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic frameworks tailored to each client.

• Collaborate closely with clients to set therapeutic goals, monitor their progress, and adapt treatment approaches based on evolving needs and outcomes.

• Utilize teletherapy technology to facilitate virtual sessions for clients, ensuring accessible care for those who may have mobility concerns or prefer remote consultations.

• Adhere to strict ethical standards by maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and insurance requirements.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of advancements in mental health practices and incorporating new methodologies into your clinical work.

Your role as a Mental Health Counselor will involve supporting a diverse clientele encompassing various ages, backgrounds, and mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A minimum of a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach toward clients’ experiences and challenges.
