Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments by meeting with patients virtually to determine their mental health status, presenting concerns, and therapy goals.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions—both one-on-one and group settings—providing clients the necessary tools and coping strategies to navigate their challenges.

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity of care and track client progress.

• Provide referrals to other healthcare providers as needed, including psychiatrists and support groups, to enhance patient treatment outcomes.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress, share knowledge, and collaborate on treatment strategies.

• Stay informed about the latest mental health research and practices, integrating this knowledge into your counseling approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse group of clients facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to, substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. Understanding the unique backgrounds and cultures of our clients is crucial in providing culturally competent care that respects their individual experiences and promotes healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Minimum of four years of direct experience in mental health counseling, with a consistent track record of successful patient outcomes.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and cultural considerations in therapy.

• Ability to effectively deliver individualized and group therapeutic interventions using an inclusive approach.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, demonstrating the capacity to remain calm and focused during challenging situations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build meaningful connections with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and various technology platforms relevant to telehealth services.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical guidelines, including patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
