The Calm Connections team operates from a remote setup, allowing clinicians to create and manage their own schedules within our outpatient office. You will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions Monday through Saturday, maintaining a work-life balance tailored to your personal needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, accurately identifying their unique needs and treatment goals.

• Implement graduate-level clinical social work and counseling interventions, tailored to each client's circumstances and aligned with evidence-based practices.
\n
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams regarding treatment plans, ensuring transparent documentation and participation in care meetings.

• Demonstrate a robust understanding of the physical, psychological, and social needs of diverse patients, adapting care strategies to provide competent support.

• Manage case loads through consultation and coordination with hospital and community resources, ensuring comprehensive and ongoing support for your clients.

• Complete all necessary documentation ethically and promptly, contributing to a seamless operational flow within the department.

• Engage in outpatient-focused therapy methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments as part of developing individualized service plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Calm Connections, our patient population ranges from adolescents to adults, dealing with a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds, tailoring therapeutic approaches to reflect their unique experiences and cultural contexts.

Qualifications\n

• Applicants must possess a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the State of Texas.

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Availability to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling preferred.

• Two or more years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling services is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), is highly desirable.
