Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

Current RN license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
One year recent acute care RN experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a professional manner.
Coordinate and delegate patient care responsibilities among the healthcare team.
Ensure compliance with established Standards of Nursing Practice.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in all interactions.
Document patient care activities clearly and concisely.
Recognize and respond to signs of cardiac or respiratory distress.

Compliance / Notes:

Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
Cerner experience is required.
