Work Environment\n

This role is designated as a fully remote position, enabling you to conduct counseling sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule. The work schedule is structured around traditional business hours, specifically Monday to Friday, without evening or weekend hours, promoting a healthy work-life balance. You will receive active mentorship and guidance from the Assistant Director, who will ensure that you have the necessary support and resources to excel in your role.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with clients to understand their unique goals, preferences, and options as a precursor to formulating personalized rehabilitation plans.

• Develop individualized rehabilitation strategies that consider the clients’ educational backgrounds, physical capabilities, and career ambitions, and adjust these plans based on client progress and feedback.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to design and implement comprehensive care programs that reflect client-specific needs.
\n
• Maintain meticulous case files and documentation that include client histories, eligibility details, insurance information, services provided, and narrative notes regarding client interactions.
\n
• Monitor client progress regularly and determine when adjustments to rehabilitation goals are necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
\n
• Facilitate ongoing communication with clients participating in job training and occupational placement programs, proactively addressing any issues that arise during their engagement.
\n
• Involve clients' family members and other support networks in the rehabilitation process to enhance the effectiveness of care.
\n
• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs, producing timely and detailed reports that support ongoing therapeutic interventions.

• Make informed recommendations and referrals to community resources that may benefit clients in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification in good standing.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering mental health treatment, especially to clients facing mental health/mood disorders in outpatient or residential settings.

• A collaborative mindset and a strong passion for supporting clients on their path to recovery.
\n
• Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience working in community health settings is highly desirable, as is familiarity with case management and advocacy for clients within social service systems. A background in working with diverse populations will also be advantageous, allowing for more responsive and empathetic client interactions.
