Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Allegiance Mental Healthcare, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, identifying strengths and areas of needed growth.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans aimed at supporting each client's unique path to recovery and resilience.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Delivering skillfully facilitated therapy sessions that help clients process trauma, learn coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and personalized care.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients receive timely assistance.

• Educating clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential records following legal and ethical standards to track client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Participating in case consultations, team gatherings, and professional development initiatives focused on advancing trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will primarily consist of individuals who have been affected by various trauma-related experiences. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient demographics, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Each client's unique background and resilience journey will shape the therapy process, providing rich and rewarding experiences that underscore the importance of empathy and understanding in mental health care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, reflecting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to adapt to various computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with demonstrated expertise in trauma-focused therapies and innovative treatment approaches will be strongly considered. Experience in offering therapeutic interventions that foster growth and recovery will be invaluable in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
