Personal Trainer for AI Model Training [Remote]

Use your personal training expertise to design, evaluate, and provide clear written and verbal feedback on fitness and wellness content that helps train next-generation AI systems. You will shape how models learn, reason, and perform by contributing real-world program design, safety guidance, motivational strategies, and instructional critique. No prior experience in AI is required, your domain knowledge is the key contribution. micro1 is an AI data lab that converts subject matter expertise into high-quality training data and evaluations to improve frontier models.

• Design and review comprehensive fitness and wellness programs tailored to diverse goals and populations.
• Provide detailed written and verbal feedback on fitness scenarios, instructional content, and exercise technique descriptions.
• Evaluate health and safety protocols within exercise routines and recommend best practices.
• Develop motivational strategies and communication techniques for different client profiles.
• Assess the quality and effectiveness of exercise instruction and program design, offering domain-specific insights.
• Document findings and recommendations clearly to inform AI model development.
• Collaborate with other experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.

• Required skills: motivation, clear communication, commitment and reliability, program design, and health and safety knowledge.
• Preferred: 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a certified personal trainer.
• Up-to-date certification from a recognized fitness authority, for example NASM, ACE, or ACSM.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Proven track record in program design, motivation techniques, and safe exercise instruction.
• Familiarity working with a range of populations and training environments.
• Previous experience contributing to educational content or training materials is a plus.

• Engagement type: Independent contractor.

• This role contributes to a customer project focused on improving next-generation AI capabilities; work consists of providing expert input and review on assignments.

• Pay rate: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour.

• No prior AI experience is required; domain expertise in personal training and related fields is the primary qualification.
