Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms, including the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to establish individualized treatment plans that are responsive to their unique needs, goals, and therapeutic preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, including treatment options and practical self-care strategies that enhance their overall mental health.
\n
• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and facilitate medication management when needed.
\n
• Stay updated with current research and advances in the field of mental health to continuously enhance therapeutic practices.
\n
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies per legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to align strategies and share best practices among peers.
\n
• Act as a client advocate, working towards de-stigmatization of mental health disorders and representing their interests in the care continuum.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily focus on assisting individuals grappling with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse patient population requires you to approach each case with cultural sensitivity and tailored strategies to promote recovery and resilience. Your interventions will contribute significantly to their overall mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.
\n
• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work in tandem with psychiatrists for a holistic treatment approach.
\n
• A proven track record of achieving successful outcomes with clients suffering from mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, with a capability to build rapport with clients from varying backgrounds effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth environment, demonstrating adaptability in using digital platforms for therapy.

• Familiarity with various mental health assessment tools and treatment documentation software.
