Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to assigned clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders through both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on client needs, collaborating with family members and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case reviews to enhance collaborative approaches and service delivery, while also contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

• Conduct thorough assessments, crisis interventions, and screenings utilizing evidence-based practices to establish treatment goals and measure progress effectively.

• Monitor clients' progress closely through regular check-ins and therapy sessions, ensuring timely interventions are made as needed to facilitate recovery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to client interactions and treatment plans per the standards set forth by the organization.

• Engage in on-call duties outside of regular hours as required, providing necessary support to clients in crisis.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus on a diverse client population, primarily consisting of individuals experiencing significant mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Your work will play a pivotal role in assisting these individuals in navigating their conditions and developing healthy coping strategies to enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in New York.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in mental health settings.

• Strong knowledge of assessment protocols, treatment methodologies, including risk assessment, and crisis management techniques.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
