Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create tailored therapy strategies for each client.

• Provide individual, group, family, and couples counseling sessions employing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans using electronic health record systems.

• Engage in regular consultations with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and improve treatment outcomes.

• Actively participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with mental health trends and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Maple Valley Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse group of clients ranging from children to adults, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, couple related challenges, and substance use disorders. Your role will be crucial in bridging the gap between clients and essential mental health resources, particularly for those facing socioeconomic challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At Maple Valley Counseling Center, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, which is commensurate with experience and caseload. Additionally, you can expect:
