Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cardiac assessments and examinations, tailoring each evaluation to the patient's unique needs and concerns.
• Diagnose and manage a spectrum of cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias, providing evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists to create personalized treatment plans that align with patients' medical histories and lifestyle goals.
• Order and interpret critical diagnostic tests including EKGs, Holter monitors, and stress tests, using findings to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that encompass medication regimens, lifestyle changes, and patient education to foster independence and health maintenance.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, liaising with cardiologists, nurses, and healthcare workers to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes.
• Establish strong, trusting relationships with patients and their families to ensure transparent communication and compassionate care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals with various cardiovascular conditions, ranging from mild to complex cases requiring extensive management. You will focus on building care plans for diverse demographics and intricately assess each patient to deliver tailored treatment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the state of New York.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems to ensure accurate patient documentation and information sharing.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
