Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand each client’s unique challenges and develop customized treatment plans aimed at addressing their specific needs.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions that address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship dynamics, and more.

• Collaborate effectively with fellow professionals, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to create a holistic support network for patients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in electronic medical records systems to streamline service delivery.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, webinars, and training sessions to ensure proficiency in the latest therapeutic techniques and interventions.

• Contribute innovative ideas and feedback to enhance the effectiveness of our programs and improve patient care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Elysian Fields Counseling Center, you will primarily work with adolescents and adults facing emotional and psychological challenges. Your clients will represent a breadth of backgrounds and experiences, including individuals dealing with stress management, grief, trauma, relationship issues, and various mental health disorders. This position requires a compassionate and adaptive approach to support clients on their unique journeys toward mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active state license as a mental health professional (LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW) is required for this role.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in counseling or mental health settings with individuals experiencing emotional difficulties.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to establish rapport with clients quickly, creating a trusting therapeutic environment.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is preferred but not essential.
\n
