Position Overview

Hope Medical Clinic, located in the heart of Jacksonville, Florida, is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. This role primarily focuses on providing exceptional patient care within our Primary Care outpatient setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions while promoting preventative health practices for our diverse patient population.

Work Environment

The Physician Assistant will work onsite at our hospital facility, collaborating closely with other healthcare providers in a supportive and patient-centered environment. The work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a commitment to providing care until 5:00 PM daily. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients, leveraging clinical assessment skills to identify health concerns.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies.
• Formulate accurate diagnoses of both acute and chronic health conditions, collaborating with team members for complex cases.
• Develop and propose tailored treatment plans for patients, focusing on both immediate care and long-term management of chronic illnesses.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and provide guidance on their use to ensure patient adherence and safety.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and schedules, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies to promote overall well-being.
• Engage in health promotion activities and initiatives, fostering an environment of wellness within the clinic.
• Participate in research and ongoing professional education to enhance clinical expertise and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse demographic of patients ranging from children to older adults, presenting a variety of medical needs. Your role will be critical in addressing preventive health measures, chronic disease management, and acute health issues, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique circumstances. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
• A valid Physician Assistant license in Florida, along with an active DEA registration number.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) is required.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, with a significant focus on primary care.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient care practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
