Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with chronic pain conditions, including reviewing comprehensive medical histories, performing physical examinations, and evaluating the severity of pain.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with our team of physicians and specialists to craft personalized pain management plans that may include medication management, physical therapy, and interventional procedures such as epidural injections or nerve blocks, ensuring adherence to best practices and patient safety.
• Patient Education: Proactively educate patients on their diagnoses, available treatment options, and self-management techniques to empower them to take an active role in their recovery process.
• Procedural Assistance: Assist in various pain management interventions, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety while using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Follow-up Care: Monitor patient outcomes, make necessary adjustments to care plans based on patient progress, and provide ongoing emotional and psychological support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population experiencing varying degrees and types of chronic pain, from common ailments to more complex neurological conditions. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant in Florida.

• A track record of teamwork and collaboration in a healthcare setting, emphasizing cooperation with physicians and other health professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

Atlas Counseling Center offers an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to 160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
