Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and needs, applying standardized tools and methodologies to ensure accurate evaluations.

• Conduct regular therapy sessions, both individual and group, preparing materials and activities that are relevant and engaging to enhance the therapeutic process.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, tailoring approaches to cultural and personal contexts.

• Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Provide referrals to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or specialized therapists, when clients require additional resources or medications.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and collaborating with other mental health professionals to provide holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adult clients who present with a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment, fostering trust and open communication with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a robust understanding of various mental health disorders and treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
