Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse client base includes individuals and couples facing a variety of emotional challenges, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. As a therapist at Relationship & Intimacy Counseling, you will directly contribute to improving the mental health and emotional stability of clients in the Valdosta community and beyond.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• Active licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working in a mental health setting is essential.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is preferred, as it will enhance your administrative work in documenting client progress.

Preferred Experience\n

While the primary expectation is two years of clinical experience, preference will be given to candidates who possess additional training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or trauma-informed care. Experience working with couples or in community mental health settings will also be advantageous.
