Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote work setting, leveraging telehealth technology to offer therapy sessions. You will engage with clients via secure video conferencing, preserving their comfort and privacy while ensuring that critical services are accessible regardless of geographic constraints. Our practice promotes a flexible work schedule, predominantly from Monday to Friday, with hours set from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing for adjustments to meet patient needs when necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally aware mental health assessments, exploring clients' unique life experiences to formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care, tailored to reflect the client's cultural context.

• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing emotional distress, interpersonal challenges, and promoting psychological resilience.

• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of the client’s mental health are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention support and resources during mental health emergencies, navigating acute situations with calmness and strategic interventions.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, available resources, and treatment strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through attending case conferences, training sessions focused on cultural competency, and contributing to team discussions on treatment efficacy and patient progress.

• Stay updated on mental health research and innovative practices, ensuring that therapeutic approaches remain relevant and impactful.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve include adults and adolescents from culturally diverse backgrounds dealing with a range of mental health concerns. Your expertise will empower individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues, amongst others. You will play a pivotal role in making mental health care more accessible and relevant to underrepresented populations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Arizona.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and culturally competent therapy practices.
\n
• Proven experience in providing therapeutic services, implementing culturally responsive care, and fostering a safe therapeutic relationship.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and an ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for engaging with a diverse clientele.

• Familiarity with EHR platforms and a solid understanding of billing practices within telehealth settings.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
