Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, establishing thorough documentation from the initial consultation to treatment completion.

• Assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to craft individualized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate therapy sessions, both individual and group-based, fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all participants.

• Monitor client progress throughout treatment plans, adjusting methods and strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate extensively with other mental health specialists, doctors, nurses, and social workers to create unified intervention plans, thereby enhancing client care.

• Provide follow-up support to clients who are hospitalized, liaising with psychiatrists and attending physicians to facilitate a smooth continuum of care.

• Identify and address behavioral issues that may hinder recovery, implementing preventive strategies to promote positive client outcomes.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing mental health challenges, offering guidance and resources as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele encompasses a diverse demographic, representing a spectrum of age groups, cultural backgrounds, and psychological needs. You will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, among other mental health issues. A strong emphasis is placed on ensuring culturally competent and sensitive treatment approaches tailored to each client's unique situation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting while demonstrating exceptional organizational skills.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, with preference given to experience using AVATAR or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor in a community health setting.

• Experience in handling concurrent physical and emotional health issues, as well as addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) for therapeutic methodologies.

• In-depth understanding of the psychological and physiological effects of medications prescribed by healthcare providers.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
