This full-time, remote position allows you to provide specialized mental health care to patients navigating the complexities of trauma. Work Environment\n

The role is designed to be remote, providing flexibility while maintaining accessibility for our patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and support staff, to ensure an integrated approach to mental health care. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients’ backgrounds to develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Create, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and developing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient progress.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma, enhancing coping mechanisms, and fostering emotional healing.

• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring that all facets of a patient's mental and physical health are addressed.

• Respond to crisis situations with timely interventions and supportive care for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, while equipping them with information on available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards pertaining to patient care.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to remain current on trauma-informed best practices.

Your work will primarily focus on helping individuals who have endured significant traumatic experiences, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred but not necessary for outstanding candidates.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, familiarity with trauma-informed approaches, and resilience-building techniques.

• Proven experience with trauma-focused therapeutic practices and interventions.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor in all interactions.

• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-stress situations and facilitate therapeutic discussions.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
