Healing Touch Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. This role is vital in providing personalized care in the home care setting, where you will restore mobility and help patients achieve their optimal performance levels. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our home care setting, you will engage with patients in their own residences. This environment allows for personalized care tailored to their specific needs and preferences. You will maintain a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a stable work-life balance while addressing the increasing patient demand for our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' movement capabilities, identifying specific needs and goals.
• Create sophisticated and comprehensive treatment plans that leverage a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Administer cost-effective therapeutic interventions to enhance clients' mobility and overall physical well-being.
• Promote a proactive approach to health by encouraging non-surgical solutions and minimizing medication reliance.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, typically one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated attention to each client's rehabilitation journey.
• Foster an encouraging atmosphere to inspire and motivate patients throughout their treatment process.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to design integrated treatment approaches that address multiple facets of patient health.
• Track and evaluate patient progress regularly to adapt treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback.
• Engage in continuous education and training to enhance physical therapy skills and stay current with industry trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those with chronic pain issues. We seek someone who is not only skilled in physical therapy but also understands the nuances of providing care in a home setting, recognizing how home environments can affect rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in designing exercise regimens specific to individual patient needs.
• Ability to utilize EMR software effectively, with a preference for experience with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful treatment plans tailored to diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with current evidence-based practices and intervention strategies in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
