Accounts Payable Clerk Job Details
Monday - Friday | 8am - 5pm |$26/hr
- Overtime possible and mandatory
- 1-2 years of Accounts Payable, Accounting, or related experience required
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with business software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing factory-direct vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Auditing invoices to verify correct pricing, costs, and billing information
- Calculating freight charges and ensuring accurate allocation of transportation costs
- Reviewing and validating invoice details prior to payment processing
- Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and payment issues
- Responding to Sales Department inquiries regarding factory-direct invoices and freight rates
- Entering invoice data into the Accounts Payable system with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintaining organized records of invoices, freight charges, and vendor documentation
- Supporting the Accounts Payable team with additional duties as assigned
