Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance without compromising your accessibility to clients. The operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with no evening or weekend work expected. Our outpatient model means you will primarily interact with clients through virtual sessions, allowing for a flexible work environment while ensuring the provision of effective therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a caseload of clients, building trusting relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate client needs and prepare personalized treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Welkins Mind Healthcare, you will work with a diverse patient population. Clients may present with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys and promote overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting since graduation.

• Demonstrable critical thinking, effective communication, and empathetic listening skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While a year of clinical experience is required, additional experience working with specific populations, such as adolescents or clients with substance use issues, is highly preferred. Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and familiarity with digital health tools for teletherapy can enhance your application.

Welkins Mind Healthcare, Inc. offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our compensation model includes a fee-for-service structure with guaranteed rates, where you are paid ahead of collections, preventing any delays in reimbursement.
