Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments during the initial consultations to understand clients’ unique emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs.

• Designing personalized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on the assessed needs and treatment goals.
\n
• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions using established therapeutic techniques and approaches.
\n
• Tracking and documenting client progress throughout the treatment journey to ensure effective outcomes and timely adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
\n
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals—such as physicians, social workers, and psychiatric nurses—to develop and implement integrated interventions.
\n
• Providing follow-up care for clients who have been hospitalized, working in tandem with returning medical providers.
\n
• Identifying potential barriers to recovery and implementing strategies to help clients overcome these challenges.
\n
• Offering support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers on managing mental health crises and behavioral challenges related to their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele encompasses individuals from various backgrounds and age groups, encountering various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Gratifying licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating strong clinical capabilities.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, and other relevant digital tools.

• Solid understanding of the interplay between mental health and underlying physical health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.
\n
• Knowledge of the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and current psychotherapeutic principles.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing for clear and effective interactions with clients and team members.
\n
• Adept interpersonal skills with a genuine, empathetic approach to counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth environment or online therapy setting is highly desirable.

• Specializing in crisis intervention and experience with diverse populations are major assets.
