Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct preliminary interviews and comprehensive assessments to document client cases from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through thorough analysis and diagnostic techniques.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, taking into account their unique circumstances and challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance client engagement and progress.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey and make necessary adjustments to their intervention plans.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, primary care doctors, nurses, and social workers to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

• Conduct follow-ups with clients admitted to hospitals and communicate pertinent information to attending physicians, ensuring a comprehensive treatment roadmap.

• Identify and mitigate behaviors that could obstruct recovery, providing support to clients and their support systems.

• Engage with family members and primary caregivers to equip them with tools and strategies to help manage mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counseling Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating clinical expertise and the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR or similar platforms for efficient client management and documentation.
\n
• Understanding of underlying physical and emotional health conditions, with skills in managing clients dealing with co-occurring disorders.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.

• Empathetic interpersonal skills that enable you to navigate sensitive client discussions and build effective support networks.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth capacity, adapting therapy modalities to online frameworks.

• Prior involvement in collaborative treatment scenarios with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
