Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' conditions through thorough assessments and collaborate with physicians to devise personalized treatment programs that align with each patient's needs.

• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment techniques, expected outcomes, and self-care strategies to promote recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Highlands Physiotherapy Clinic, you will work predominantly with orthopedic patients, but also have the opportunity to treat individuals across diverse specialties, including pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. This variety enables you to broaden your expertise and adjust your therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each patient group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy, adhering to local regulations and guidelines.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interactions with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
