Our work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and meticulous assessments of patients to identify their unique needs and establish their goals for substance use disorder treatment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, employing evidence-based approaches such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

• Deliver impactful individual counseling sessions aimed at equipping clients with essential coping strategies and tools for recovery.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that provide peer support and foster a sense of community among individuals on similar recovery journeys.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and rapid support to individuals experiencing substance-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about the nature of addiction, various recovery strategies, and available community resources to empower their treatment journey.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of substance use disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will work with are primarily those struggling with substance use disorders, encompassing a spectrum of addiction issues including alcohol, opioids, and other substances. Our clients range from those at the beginning of their recovery journey to individuals needing support in maintaining sobriety. Your role will be pivotal in offering robust support, understanding, and guidance through their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Holding a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possessing current and valid licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly in the context of recovery-oriented care.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy specifically in the field of addiction treatment.

• Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and includes opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
