Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough assessments and risk evaluations for clients, documenting findings and developing tailored safety plans.

• Maintain continuous and detailed crisis alerts, ensuring effective coordination with county crisis services for individuals in need.

• Facilitate smooth transitions for clients in hospital settings, including care coordination during discharge processes to uphold the highest standards of support.
\n
• Utilize crisis de-escalation techniques effectively, serving as the designated Clinician of the Day to provide immediate, compassionate support.
\n
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation, completing all case notes and reports within the same day to enhance care quality.
\n
• Actively participate in regular team meetings, case reviews, and collaborative discussions to support peer-driven insights and practice improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Telehealth Counselor at Mind Discovery, you will serve a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts. Your role is pivotal in not only addressing their immediate mental health needs but also in equipping them with strategies for long-term stability and growth. With an emphasis on culturally competent care, you will adapt your approaches to fit the unique backgrounds and needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current and valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of clients while maintaining quality service delivery.

• Exceptional skills in building rapport and trust with clients, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire them consistently.

• Strong clinical skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience\n

Mind Discovery offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 , based on experience and caseload.
