This position is designed for remote work; however, our LCSWs will collaborate closely with school personnel, parents, and the community. You will play a vital role in bridging the gap between healthcare and education, working within schools to ensure students receive comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Health And Peace Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments of clients who exhibit symptoms of significant mental illness or severe emotional disturbances, both in the office and through outreach in the community.

• Developing and implementing integrated care plans tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring they have access to necessary services.
\n
• Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions to a diverse caseload, focusing on solution-oriented treatment strategies.
\n
• Facilitating crisis intervention procedures and managing urgent situations to ensure the immediate safety and well-being of clients.
\n
• Maintaining ongoing communication with families and school staff to create a supportive network around each student.
\n
• Documenting client progress, managing treatment plans, and ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards at all times.

• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance collaborative approaches to student care and service delivery.
\n
• Monitoring treatment and discharge criteria, making sure they are met promptly in accordance with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing complex emotional and mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in implementing strategies to enhance their social skills and encourage their academic success. By working directly in schools, you will help identify at-risk students early, facilitating timely interventions that promote their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Expert understanding of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, with a focus on children and adolescents.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, families, and professionals.

• Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with diverse populations and adapting approaches based on varying needs.
