Role Description

We are looking for a Bookkeeper with WordPress Skills to work on a flex basis with one of our clients based in California. What you'll do:

• Categorize transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.
• Match receipts and supporting documentation to the corresponding transactions.
• Enter and update client payment information in QuickBooks.
• Assist with account reconciliations and recurring monthly bookkeeping processes.
• Maintain organized bookkeeping files and follow established workflows and procedures.
• Support administrative bookkeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field — or currently pursuing one.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow established processes.

Requirements

• WordPress skills or experience managing content and administrative tasks on WordPress sites.
• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related administrative role.
• Experience working with spreadsheets and financial data.
• Prior exposure to U.S.-based clients or firms.
