Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, groups, and families to identify their mental health needs. Provide targeted clinical interventions, drawing on graduate-level counseling skills and evidence-based therapy techniques. Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement coordinated care plans through documentation and meetings, including patient rounds. Ensure timely and ethical completion of all clinical documentation in accordance with departmental standards. Engage in case management for assigned clients, collaborating with community resources and professionals to optimize therapeutic interventions. Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other relevant modalities to support patients in achieving their individualized service plans. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily serve a diverse outpatient clientele, including individuals and families from various backgrounds experiencing mental health challenges that range from anxiety and depression to trauma-related issues. As a mental health counselor at Trinity Health, you will be pivotal in offering effective treatment and advocacy to ensure your clients' diverse needs are met holistically and compassionately. Qualifications State licensure is mandatory; candidates must possess credentials as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). A commitment to work between 10 to 40 hours per week is expected, allowing for flexible scheduling based on your availability. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is required, demonstrating proficiency in treating a variety of mental health conditions. Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with case management models will be considered a strong asset. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, adjusted for experience and personal credentials.
