Strategic Account Manager

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Accounts, the Strategic Accounts Manager (SAM) will represent Blue Earth Diagnostics Inc. and its products. The SAM has an essential role in developing and delivering strategic solutions to external and internal customers while supporting the development of market partnerships, internal strategic development, and field support. The SAM is a customer facing employee with KOL and C‑suite personnel across specific medical specialties and geographies. The SAM will develop and maintain long‑term, peer‑to‑peer relationships with these critical stakeholders including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other health care professionals specializing in the treatment of prostate cancer in key institutions in the US. The SAM will address the identified needs of key stakeholders by providing relevant and compliant data and developed processes to ensure appropriate on‑label utilization through enhanced patient access to company products. Additionally, the SAM will serve as the strategic conduit to industry partners, group leaders and internal company personnel. This position will focus on the territory encompassing the West. Candidates located in Southern California and familiar with this territory are preferred. Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties and Tasks Maintains a Strategic Plan Be knowledgeable of the brand, the company and market Maintain thorough knowledge of technical/product data, disease state, clinical information, and product data within the diagnostic arena. Grow and develop new and relevant relationships. Apply knowledge and understanding of our products, programs, and services to meet customer needs. Continuously learn relevant information regarding each channel of business and share critical information with team members and directors. Effectively communicate and make in‑roads with practice and corporate c‑suites and key physicians. Assist the team in establishing a regional data reporting process. Partner with other departments (i.e. Medical, Field and Reimbursement) to establish educational speaker events, congresses, and appropriate field interaction. Acquire knowledge of current healthcare environment and its impact on company business. Build long term relationships with key accounts through honest and ethical behavior consistent with the company values. Maintain basic health economic data relative to the company. Develop processes that enable greater patient identification and access to the product line. Identify, through field intelligence and relationships, potential industry partners that share Blue Earth’s mission to achieve appropriate care for the appropriate patient. Develop and execute strategic and tactical business plans specific to external, industry partnerships. Drive strategic exchange, internally and externally, and execute strategic initiatives. Provide guidance on established processes ensuring customers can properly and effectively utilize company products. Develop strategies and tactics to effectively communicate complex analytical information. Consistently collect critical competitive intelligence/clinical insights through one‑on‑ones, group discussions and attendance at meetings and determine the impact on Blue Earth’s strategy and communicate this information to internal stakeholders. Identify opportunities to partner beyond our established relationships. Support company initiatives, such as physician round table discussions, patient navigator summits and advanced cancer clinic development programs. Support Operations/Policy and Internal Partners. Provide technical support and training to field commercial and account teams. Maintain working knowledge of the company’s products, providing guidance and information on products and their use through enhanced process development. Research and provide full answers to technical enquiries, liaising with internal experts as required. Work with cross‑functional teams as agreed upon with your manager to support brand objectives. Communicate regularly with the cross‑functional (sales, marketing, reimbursement, medical) teams you support. Adhere to and manage travel and local expenses to meet Blue Earth policy while being compliant with all company policy. Develop and effectively manage a call plan, call reporting process, and proper use of CRM. Effectively manage administrative activities. Other duties as determined by business needs. Education / Qualifications Associate’s or bachelor’s degree or completion of a certificate program. At least 5 years of industry experience preferred. Professional Experience, Knowledge, & Technical Skills Knowledge of FDA requirements and PhRMA Code. Ability to integrate and work in a cross‑functional network. Demonstrated project management ability. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel 50%–70% (approx. 10–12 overnights per month). Valid driver’s license. Strong coaching, facilitation, and organizational skills; team player. Experience and skills with cross‑functional and highly matrixed organizations.
