Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to monitor progress and adapt therapeutic interventions.

• Assess clients' situations, strengths, and support networks to collaboratively establish personalized goals.

• Guide clients in navigating challenging life transitions, including issues related to illness, divorce, or unemployment.

• Research, refer, and advocate for community resources such as food stamps, childcare, and healthcare services that enhance client well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, ensuring that services effectively address the challenges faced by children and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals and families affected by substance abuse and mental health disorders. The therapist will work closely with a diverse clientele, assessing their unique emotional, social, and psychological needs, to deliver effective treatment plans that foster recovery and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and active licensing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), free from suspension or probation.

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience providing mental health services in a therapeutic setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of creating a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
