Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and thorough evaluations of clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional well-being, documenting each case meticulously from first consultation through treatment progress.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including social workers, nurses, and psychiatrists, to devise comprehensive intervention plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to express their challenges and work towards recovery.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs and circumstances.

• Provide follow-up support for clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring a seamless transition back into therapy and addressing any lingering mental health challenges.

• Educate and assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing behavioral health challenges, empowering them to be active participants in the recovery process.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in psychotherapy and integrate best practices in therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in Colorado.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record systems, with a focus on maximizing efficiency in client management.

• Exceptional skills in written and verbal communication, along with a compassionate approach to client interactions.

• An in-depth understanding of the interplay between mental health and underlying physical conditions or addictions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, particularly in a community health or outpatient setting.
